Easter 2011

Landry got to go Easter egg hunting three time so she had it down by Sunday! The Easter Bunny come to Miss Marilyn's house on Wednesday so she got a bunch of eggs that day. I was at work so I didn't get any pictures of that one. On Saturday, we went up to Lake Pointe with some friends and Landry got to hunt eggs again.
She got three eggs all by herself at this one! I had a hard time making her wait until they said go to start getting them. She saw them all out there and was so mad that I wouldn't let her go! On Sunday, the Easter Bunny came again and left some eggs in the house. She knew what to do at this point and had all the eggs gathered up very quickly. Daddy had taught her how to open the eggs so she got right down to business eating all the goodies inside.

Clapping for herself :)

Putting the eggs in the basket

Eating yummy stuff!

Bluebonnets

I had to go take pictures of Landry in bluebonnets some time this spring. It's almost a rule in Texas to make sure and pull off the side of the road and put you kid in the middle of a random field at least once a year to get that classic picture. We've had like 90 mile per hour winds here the last month it seems but I did the best I could. Here are a couple of the best ones:I've started planning for her 1st birthday party. I can't believe she will be a year old in 6 weeks! We are having a Bugs and Flowers themed party. I've got some decorations, ordered some party favors, and am going to rent a bounce house for the older kiddos to play in. Never had to do this before so hopefully it turns out good!
Landry is getting so big! She pulls up on everything and cruises around as long as she's holding on. Today she even stood by herself for a few seconds a couple of times and loves to jump. She is babbling up a storm too. I think we can officially declare her first word! Well, it's actually a phrase, not just a word. The only thing she says that we understand and she actually means to say is "Thank you!" Yup, raising our daughter to be polite :) We play this game all the time where when she has something in her hand we ask her for it and when she gives it to use we say thank you to her. Sometimes she will repeat it back! Too cute!!!

Last week we went to my aunt house in the country and Landry "rode" (actually just sat) on a four wheeler for the first time. She was pretty proud of herself!
