3 Months Old

As of last Friday, Landry is 3 months old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. She has gotten so big! On Saturday, my friend and amazing photographer Shanon Zais took Landry's 3 month pictures. They turned out soooooo good! You can see all of them on her site

First Day Back

Monday I had to go back to work so Landry had to go to the babysitter's for the first time. I got her up and got her ready to go:

She decided she didn't want to eat her bottle and took 15 minutes to eat one ounce. Perfect when I'm on a timeline. I decided to just send her bottle with her. That's when she chose to poop all over her outfit. So we did a wardrobe change and took pictures again:

I finally got her ready to go to Mrs. Marilyn's:

Once we got out of the house, the rest of the day went good for both of us. She had a good day there and it was nice to get back to work. I'm sure I'm going to miss being home with her soon but so far so good!

12 Weeks old

Sorry for the lack of posts. We haven't had much going on and I've been sick for a couple of days. I'm feeling much better now so I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Landry is 12 weeks old now. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. I go back to work on Monday. I'm excited to get back to a normal routine but I'm going to miss being home with her during the day. Here's a few new things that Landry's doing:

-She's been on 100% formula since last Sunday. I had to switch her before she starts going to daycare. It wasn't as bad of a process as I though it would be and though she wasn't always happy about getting formula, she's used to it now. The hardest feeding to switch was the middle of the night feeding. She was NOT happy the first time I tried to give her formula then.

-She's regressed a little on her sleeping. She was sleeping really well at night and I was hopeful we would be sleeping through the night soon. Well, this week she has started waking up every 4 hours throughout the night. Now I'm having to feed her twice during the night. I may start trying to add a little rice cereal to her bottle at night if this doesn't get better soon!

-Since Wednesday, she can now roll over from her back to her stomach. She rolls over on her left side and flips to her stomach. She's also getting better at scooting herself when she's on her tummy. I have a feeling she's going to be crawling before long. ***UPDATE*** As of this afternoon, she can also roll from her tummy to her back! Getting bigger by the minute!

Here's a few pictures of Miss Landry!

The Game Room

Over the weekend we finally got to work on our game room. Until Saturday, it had been a big empty room. I went to some garage sales on Saturday morning and found a great almost new couch for cheap:
I got on craigslist when I got home and found a pool table for only $250! And it was in Rockwall! We went and looked and it Saturday and then Jason and his friend Matt went and picked it up for us on Sunday.
Of course Jason wouldn't be happy without a TV in the game room so we headed to Best Buy and found a good deal on a 42" Plasma TV.

We still need to get a shelf to put the receiver on, a rack or something for all the pool stuff, and probably an end table. It's almost done though!

Oh lord!

Landry found her thumb on Friday! I have been trying to prevent this from day one. My mom and I walked in from the backyard and this was what we found:

I would pull her thumb out of her mouth and she would just smile at me and put it back in! Luckily I think she forgot about it after her nap. So far she's not done it again but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. The last few days, Landry's been falling asleep while playing on her activity mat. She'll be down there playing and I realize she's not making any noise. I look and she'll be passed clean out.

We've been working on our game room this weekend. I'll have a post about that as soon as we finish! Until then here's one more picture of our "smunchkin"
