5 Months Old

Landry was 5 months old on Wednesday! I can't believe she is getting so big! Here are some of the things she's been doing in the last month:
-Slept through the night twice so far. Hopefully this will start happening more often!
-Has started eating baby food. So far she's had rice cereal, squash, pears, carrots, bananas, and peas. I think carrots are her favorite so far.
-She can kind of sit on her own. Here's one of her first attempts:(Yes that's drool covering her shirt and she only had it on for like 10 minutes. Don't you love teething!)

-She is smiling, laughing, and playing all the time. She is a much happier baby now that she's on real foods. Her stomach doesn't hurt her nearly as much.

A couple of weeks ago, I tried to take her to a pumpkin patch and take pictures. Landry wanted no part of it! She wouldn't even look at the camera, much less smile. It was past nap time and she just wanted to go to sleep! We are going to try again this weekend hopefully. Here's the best picture I got from attempt one:The rest of them looked more like this:That's her "I'm annoyed" look. She was so over the pumpkin patch! Oh well. We will try again!

Beginning of October.....

Sorry I've been a bad blogger! I've been super busy and haven't had time to post. I have a ton to post about so I'll split it into to posts.

The first week in October was a week of first for Landry. She had her first trip to Canton where my friend Heather proceeded to spill beans all over Landry's stroller, a little later sweet tea on Landry, and then corn all over my car when we were about to leave. Landry was great though :)

That Wednesday, Landry went to the State Fair for the first time. She was very good. We were there all day and she didn't fussy at all. They had a Tom Landry exhibit there and there was a sign out front that said "Landry Entrance" so we had to stop and take a picture.

That Friday was Landry's first football game. She went to the game with me and her Mimi and Papa Roy came and picked her up to spend the night. We took some pictures before she left in her cute tutu.

It was a great week and Landry was very good! She is getting some much easier to take out and do stuff with. Love it!
